DIRECT CARE PER DIEM POSITIONS

WYSS has openings for per diem positions all shifts for Direct Care Staff for our Safe Home program. Our Safe Home/Rainbow House is a short-term residential home for abused and/or neglected children ages 6 -13 placed by Department of Children and Families. Direct Care Staff are responsible for the supervision, teaching and care of the 12 children in residence. Ideal candidates must meet the physical demands of the position; must be able to bend, sit, and stand for periods of time; manage stairs; run/walk quickly after a child; must be able to lift 50 pounds; have a minimum of two years experience working with children with emotional, social and/or behavioral issues; flexibility with work schedule. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Medication Administration Certified, CPR/ First Aid and bilingual a plus. Must pass DCF and Police checks, have clean driving record and insurance. Hourly Rate, commensurate with experience.
