A Cinderella Story

A whole community came together to make dreams come true for over 50 local girls this prom season. It started months ago with an out pouring of donations: beautiful new and gently used prom gowns; 75 pairs of new prom shoes; jewelry; gift certificates for corsages, updos and more. Then it all came together on Sunday, April 11th at WYSS's 7th annual Perfect Prom Project Boutique, where owners from several local bridal stores, Kaynor Tech's Fashion Technology Department, volunteers and WYSS staff all worked together to help the girls find their perfect prom gown and accessories. At the end of the day we are not sure who was smiling more, the girls who left feeling like a "Princess" or the "Fairy Godmothers" who had a chance to help make dreams come true!!
