The spirit of Christmas was seen at the Country Club of Waterbury on December 6, as we celebrated the 21st annual Santa’s Toy Fund. The festive setting, delicious food and lively auction and raffles made for an enjoyable evening. This fundraiser conceived by Jaci Carroll and her daughter Kathie Hanratty of Jaci Carroll Staffing is a great success year after year. The assistance of our generous committee members in sponsoring this event makes it possible for every dollar to be directed to needy children. Our Christmas tree provided more opportunity to help families in need and 18 families were adopted this season. A gift in a child’s hand and food on their table has always generated the true spirit of Christmas. We thank all who gave of their time and resources to ensure those in need will have a wonderful and joyous Christmas!
