WYSS has several volunteer opportunities, one of which may be right for you.
Mentors can have a great impact on a youth’s life, especially those involved in DCF care. By sharing a few hours of your time per week, you are changing a youth’s life forever. It can be as simple as being someone to talk to, “hang out” with or just listening. Being a role model and a positive influence are simple things that you can do, but the rewards are immense. We ask a commitment of one year of volunteering, which includes a minimum of one phone call a week and spending at least one hour a week together. If you believe that you can make this commitment or if you have any other questions, please contact Neil Piccirillo at 203-573-0264 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org

Our board is comprised of respected business and community leaders charged with overseeing the organization's growth and development in accordance with its mission.
