2006
aterbury Youth Service’s Excellence in Youth
Awards is an annual event held to recognize character excellence in middle &
high school aged youth. A total of 115 youth were nominated by local schools
for demonstrating outstanding character in one of our five character
categories; Citizenship, Community Service, Good Samaritan, Initiative
& Leadership. All nominees received a Certificate Of Excellence.
A ceremony was held at the Village At East Farms on May 15th to celebrate
with the 20 winners and their guest. The heart warming letters of
nominations were read for each winner and they received flowers and a beautifully engraved
plaque.
